How do you like the predator? What's it like.in people's gardens traveling over Indian paving and up and down steps with ramps?

I'm worried about the weight with cracking flags and loosening steps/ edges.

Cheers Chris

with about a tonne you have to be careful! we use boards to change direction almost everywhere hard and soft where needed, this machine replaced our old vermeer 186(?) push pull I have nothing to compare it, experience wise, with but am happy with it, as with all small powered machines sharp teeth make a lot of difference to production.

I would say much the same. Also bear in mind if you pull the pin out on the lift ram you can lift the cutting wheel and arm up vertical with a ratchet strap. It’s not often you will need to but once done there isn’t many places you can’t get it 👍

as well as boards I use a couple of 4ft bits of scaffold plank to take the sharpness off steps etc, or put them side on against the edge of a patio to stop it crumbling the edge as you go over it.

cracking machines with excellent service and backup from predator.

I’m amazed this thread is still alive after so many years

I’m doing mostly tree stumps now, also some digging after stumps been removed. And supply a pressure washing service, getting that work from stump clients.

Been very busy.

I’m going to spend a night next week and see all the posts in the tread. [emoji2]
