Regards,

Steve.

Lucky escape Steve, that could have been so much worse. Hope you are healing and not still out of action.

Bob

Towalong TW has had a bit of a battering, normal crack. Feed the chipper a load of stones and rubbish until its blunt , when the chute starts to block up with stringy gear beat the granny out of it with a stick:thumbdown:

Anyway set Mick Dundee on it

With some heat ,patience ,an off cut of thickwall pipe and the hydraulic spreaders he managed to make the chute round again.

And while he was at it he made the deflector adjustable. He trimmed up the thread on the pinch bolt so the handle ended up the other side of twelve o'clock so it cant rattle undone.

20161219_123959_zpstcptsfxh.jpgs

some may recall, I did up an entec 1999 and spentma lot of time and effort on it, new bearings, blades etc.

anyway, the guy who sold it to me said he would hire it from time to time, and indeed he has.

the other day, disaster. The no stress got some crud on the sensor and packed up, his operative failed to recognise it, carried on feeding until the engine stalled, and threw a belt.

I repaired that, sent it back out, this time the pulley taper decided to split into three, fly out and smash a lump of the pulley, and shred the pump belt
