Apparently bearing failure was to blame so blades contacted anvil and brought everything to a stop, bits of blade still wedged into it!

I see, normally you get a bit of warning when those bearings fail, but if the operator wasn’t listening or didn’t care..

Sometimes it pays off to carry round everything possible in the back of the truck.

To be fair, I think it was operator mishap that led to this issue. I dropped a decent sized log on the back end of the machine, think that coupled with moving over my home made ditch crossings put a lot of strain on the wee machine. Thankfully it’s fettled up now, and have reinforced the area that broke. But, I fear all I have done is move the weak point elsewhere! (A quote from a fellow Bulleteer!)
