Hi All

 

Anyone had any experience with GEE "Propel" Biomass Boilers?

Looking at one via the boiler share scheme.

 

It seems a little bit to good to be true so looking at carefully but fully funded for 7 years under RHI seems attractive to replace a 20 odd year old Oil Burner.

 

Be glad of any advice and if you supply Pellets in Lancashire drop me a message as i may well be needing some if it works out!

I run a small biomass supply Buiness and have for 5 years so we come across lots of boilers gee are made in Irland and buy a grate chap call Stuart .

We deliver to several of there installs in the north of England and are all running well !

There is no secret to biomass and yes there is some poor pellets on the uk market but there are lots of good too the problems come when people swap from one pellet to another to another then never clean out the pellet store !

update....eventually.

Went for Air source Boiler. £12K Install with approx £10.5K payback from RHI so no brainer and no faffing with pellets..

had it insatlled a little while now with a fair bit of typical lancashire weather.. and its coping OK.

And of course our trusty Stove.. if only they can sort a way of getting RHI from a standard Logburner...
