Are you a climber? If so say goodbye to your knees.

yep . i shattered my left knee after taking up wrestling . was way too tired after climbing all day . I would say go for it , but be very very careful and dont over do it , it could cost you your lively hood , it almost did ( it may still yet ) mine .

Hi, just wondering if anyone does judo or have one. I am thinking about joining a club. Had a taste of it before, and really liked it. Just wanting to know other peoples views/ experiences.

Thanks

Harvey.

If your quite flexible you will be fine doesn't have to be full throttle

More into sparring now keeps my temper in check

I did Judo has a teenager and carried on till I was 30 , problem for me and the alike is we are knackered after a days work which can have dire consequences when having nage-waza and opposition then slaps you with a full IPPON score and you are then on your back hard .

Got too BLUE Belt and struggled with knee and neck problems.

Still have a valid Judo licence and my 8year old son does Jiu-jistu .

Next to rugby is the best sport in the world imo. Really great for all round fitness, generally very nice people run the club's and a fantastic way to burn off some pent up feelings. I also worked the doors for over 10 years and found it the most effective way to manage people in certain situations.Thoroughly recommend it. I'm nearly 40 and still get on the mat. I've just got my youngest into the sport at 6 and he's bitten by the bug.
