Is this Turkey Oak / Quercus cerris?

I felled a couple of oak trees today.... they are about 10" diameter at the base.

I'm guessing they are Turkey oak, but not sure.

Can anyone confirm from these pics?.... unfortunately I don't have any leaf photos because they all fell off. :001_huh:

If it is Turkey oak would it be suitable for milling into floorboards?

Yeah, I've read that somewhere.

I'm not 100% sure if what I've felled is Quercus cerris though?!

Does it have red heartwood?

I don't know Ive never seen felled wood. If it twists some daft arty types will buy it:laugh1:

Afterthought. Have a look in the leaf litter if you can. The oak leaves I see in your picture don't seem to have the narrow width to lenth ratio of cerris.
