Re: Waste through a terrace house.

hi, if it`s any help, just priced a similar job today, got a deal with HSS hire for a day`s hire of a compact chipper to take through the house, £50+vat only takes up to 2" . I`m only doing a medium alder so I`ll chip the wee stuff into bags and carry the rest through the house, of coarse your job may be bigger. cheers

Good thinking Mac! I've lost count of how many trees/branches/rings I've manipulated through houses in central London. You havent lived until you've moved a dismantled 60 foot Plane tree bit by bit through an imaculate kensington property passed a grand piano over marble flooring and out through a sash window:D:D:D

I did a job like this once and it went well. The customer was a builder and he got the kitchen ply boarded out and we carted an entire black pop through a plywood tunnel.

 

In truth he was a bit embarrassed that he head managed to "build" the tree into the back garden with an extension.
