as Harvey and Blg J said it's a big old saw not as agile as some but built like a tank i have a photo on the chainsaw photo thread i think its on page 26

i have one here and i love the old hammer its totally old skool i can get parts very easy and fairly quickly if needed my prices for this saw are dearer than the makita version

but the EU version of this saw comes with d033 bar mounts i have the conversion kit that you can use D009 mounts so your options are varied and any large husqvarna bars will fit

iam sure mr SAW TROLL likes this saw :001_smile:

So the options are large husky or monster Stihl bar mounts? The d033 mount is very limited, 17, 21, 30, 33 and massive bars! The d009 mounts would make more sense as standard!

There are no indications that it is - rather the opposite, starting with halv a kg extra weight....

Well that just proves printed data is total rubbish. 361 is a smidgen more than the ol 036. Had an 036 and a 6100 on the scales a couple of weeks ago; the dol was ~500g lighter than the 036.

Shall I take photo's to prove?

As far as I know, the 036 always was heavier than the MS361, but not by that much. However, I don't know how much crud etc was in the 036 that you put on the scale - your numbers doesn't add up with known facts anyway, as they would mean the 036 weighted like the MS460.....

Regardless, even the (often optimistic) specs tell that the 6100 is hefty for a 60cc saw, and KWF confirmed it in their test. Discussing it is fruitless.

The MS362 and the PS6100 are the heavyweights in the 60cc class, unless you bring the Echos into the discussion.

yes Eddy it makes sense THOSE older do33 bars are so heavy and deep

the 9010 was sold in the usa with the smaller bar studs and smaller hole bar plates, i have a selection here genuine dolmar , it makes life easier i can use so many more bars now rather than the standard dolmar 29'' 74cm solid nose zapping power :thumbup:

I'm almost certain you can get the oregon pro bars in large d033 mount, as i'm looking into getting one after xmas.

there are a small number of bars that are listed in the new oregon catalogue they are 17'' and 20'' nothing bigger you can get some 28'' and 30'' from usa
