I've always done my stint in the kitchen, I'm not a pudding person but have done a few on them, but I do enjoy being creative for an appreciative audience. Although I tend to do more routine meals than fancy cordon blue stuff that looks good but is a small portion!

Me and Aunt Bessy to a very palatable Sunday roast too.....

i can boil an egg does that count

I can never tell whether boiled eggs look done or not, you'll have to give me your recipe. I have one for toast given to me by an old work colleague. When it's brown it's cooked, when it's black it's (forgot the exact term, sure it rhymed with cooked though) I thought we had a special kitchen timer to tell you when the food is ready but my wife has since informed me it is the smoke alarm.

I do a fair bit of cooking/baking, not as much as I used to though...

A few things of mine:

I do a bulk lot of spag bol and we eat one lot and freeze the rest in batches for later. I make home made pasta as well to go with it.

My girlfriend and I do this fortnightly, start off with a mince base cram it with peppers tomatoes then split and turn it into chilli and bolegnase. Saves having to cook (and wash up everything) everynight. Defrosts easily and freely on the woodburner.

Also I make a great curry all by myself :)
