I'm looking at getting a large splitter to make 1m long billets. I'm currently thinking of getting a posch splitmaster. Has anyone any experience of this or other machines?

We bought a 22t thor vertical for billets, it'll take 1.2 metre lengths and has performed well so far. We went for the optional winch which was a bit of a waste of money as its too weak to really save your back

I'm looking for a splitter for Billets at the moment aswell, has to be self powered though as I don't have the luxury of either elecricity or a tractor! I was thinking Posch but I'm open to suggestions, cycle time is most important to me as I work fast and dont have time to be waiting while the splitter head fights its way through the log or creeps its way back up!!

We still have our 2.2m 40t splitter which we never use, if someone wants to make split billets then make a sensible offer (emphasis on sensible) and we might be able to do a deal. Has its own pump and tank

Hi, what make, age and price you looking for?

Thanks
