395xp is a little too dated for me. But the 390xp is has been just right.

 

My love/hate with those flippy caps in sub zero temps seals the 661's fate for me.

 

What problems do you have with the flippy caps sub zero?

 

Tim, just buy whatever feels best in your hands. I done this recently and made a different decision to what I thought I would

Get the Stihl if you like cleaning the air filter every day. Go with the 395 if you only clean the filter once a year because you happened to have the cover off.

 

:biggrin: Thats so true :biggrin: cleaned the filter on this one about mid October but it would have done a turn :biggrin:
