Drones are a great gadget, unfortunately their use in Arb work is limited to about zero, unless it's for entertainment.

I looked at this last year with a buildings surveyor. His 'copter' cost him £16K and was the cheapest model that could actually do the job sufficiently.

A model that can get into a tree canopy and come back with adequate video or photos, the US military still keep them for themselves.

Alternatively, their built by boffins or sold from Japan at knee trembling prices.

The other problem is that to use them commercially you need a UAV pilots licence
