Despite the job being a fair quote signed by the client and done to clients satisfaction, they do not see why they should pay the full amount

They love it don't they!

Earlier this year we completed a two day job through a carpet of dog poo and still cleared up well.

The client expressed her satisfaction,

 

then asked for a discount.

This while supervising the delivery of her new Masserati!

i put everthing down in writing what it will cost. then if they want to sqeal say look at quote you agread. pay up. if not small claims court. when you send a final letter that if they do not pay up it will be 50% extra of quote they do pay up but some do not. and is a loss leader

 

You need to put the 50% surcharge part in your T&Cs in your initial quote or you might find you can't rely on it legally.
