There are discs available for Stihl saw

(Disc cutter) designed for cutting sleepers with nails and roots in soil. Etc.. 9" 12" & 16" available. I think the big ones are around £120.

Travis perkins stock them, among others.

Ive got a stihl disc cutter but I wouldn't get it down the hole, thanks anyway:thumbup1:

Been fencing for years and never come across anything to grind roots out at depth, but thought the younger blokes might know of any new tools. I think your idea is about the best, have you seen the size of some of those polish lads?
