Those robust galvanised Logosol jacks are a bargain at the price! Very surprised more people don't use one - extremely versatile also.

If you can't find one John, we'll come and tip those 'leaners' over for you and take them away as well for free!:biggrin:

I'm doing the edge trees with the BGU 9.5 but damned if I'm hand cutting the rest of the crop with a sledge and wedge in small lanky timber.

for free my arse :001_rolleyes::biggrin:

Can't tell you where to buy one although I'd be starting to look at the Swedish & German sites. Can't recall if they sell them or if I have the name of the website correct but Freeworker.de may be worth a try..

I can say how good they are on the right site though, I used a pair of them to fell a lot of hefty back-leaners near powerlines in Sweden.

Clark Forest did them years ago.

I really want one i nearly got one at the APF. They're big money for a just in case tool really. Their very popular over in Finland/Sweden maybe one of the guys there can find you one and post it over?

I think Swedish price and private shipping would kill it, or put at least 100 quid on the UK price

Uk supplier here though

Yes that's who I already contacted. They 'phoned me back today to say it will be with them in a week so stuck with that :thumbup:. Decked a few more today managing without it but as I get further and further from the rack the sticks will need to be bang on 90 degrees to it to reach so it will be right on time :thumbup:
