You climbers think your fearless lol

I've said on here a few times that I'm no climber and i fully respect you lads that get up them trees day in day BUT how many of you could do this with using the same equipment......:ohmy::blink:

 

 

I honestly felt giddy just watching it.....:lol: no harness, no flipline, no helmet, no spikes, no LOLER tested main line just a wooden seat on a rope.....:laugh1:

 

He had balls as hard as the cast iron his steam engine was made of!!!

Sod that, I wouldn't do that for any amount of money!!

that's it mate! Crazy really but fair play to him he even went up after a few pints....:laugh1:

 

 

says in that one he got £4500!! Probably decent money back then but put 4 zeros on it and you still wouldn't get me up there lol

Hi mate Fred was a great chap I did not meet but there's chaps I no meet him at a local pub here in mells Somerset and he was a great chap same chap as he was on the TV I loved him as a kid and still think a lot of him to thanks Jon

Hi mate same were set fire to be used wooden poles hold it up then set lite to it they back then had tyres around the base there may some on the YouTube of that thanks Jon

Its not about fearless, fearless is foolish and often ends up dead

 

That man simply has confidence in his equipment and ability

 

I agree! I have a rather acute fear of falling to my death, hence the reason why i have LOLER/PSA tested equipment.

And there is a fine line between confidence in ones abilty and just downright stupidity.

 

All the same, respeck to the chap :thumbup:
