Meindl sizes are on the snug side. So if you like wearing thick socks or cushion soled socks, I'd go for a half size up, maybe even a full size up. I got a size 41 (7s) which are comfy with thin cool max socks. But I'll never be able to wear thick socks in them. Did try once, only to have my feet crushed inside.
