Raptor woodchippers

I am looking to get a 750kg chipper to replace my Jensen A530 6" Chipper. This is so that others can legally tow.

 

I am getting a new Timber wolf 230 (?) on demo and have looked at getting second hand Jensen contractor 750kg.

 

I have just seen that Raptor do a 750 KG chipper.

 

Has anyone got experience of using Raptor chippers? They are an eastern European brand and are cheaper than other makes. Is this due to lower costs or lower build quality?

Too right, 750kg chippers are too compromised.

There is at least 200kg difference between the subs and the overs 6" chipppers.

Speaks volumes In my book.

Chippers can be quite personal to most folk especially owner operators. Why not test out a few and do some research and then make an informed choice. The 4 main company's All make good machines. The New Timberwolf 230 is excellent as I have been told the forst T6 is also good.

Because some people don't need big chippers and it's allot easier on your smaller trucks. Where I live in Brixham we're always having to negotiate our chipper by hand to get in those tight access jobs
