I count myself amongst those that worked the old way.. since owning the t540 I've changed my habbit and look for better positioning.. I'm now convinced its made me safer. :D

 

 

Stubby is quite correct that the build quality of these saws is not up to scratch, they need to be able to take more abuse.

 

However I too have changed my work habits for that saw, also for the better. Less hand holding, more step cuts etc. one thing I do like is the plastic loop for short clipping a saw.
