Ive had enough of my cheap chiense spikes that hurt my feet and give me a bruised calf if im in them all day:thumbdown:

Im looking at either the Stien X2 or the Distel Gecko. Can any one help if one is better than the other or come up with a better option for the £200ish mark

Cheers

Thanks. Ive tried the Stiens, they are a big step up from what ive put up with for 4 years, but somthing didnt seem quite right. I didn't want to adjust them to see as they were on loan :laugh1:

It would be nice to try before buying but we havn't got a dealer for climbing gear on the iow :confused1:

I will take the chance on the Geckos i think:thumbup:

I have the geckos and find them quite comfy, but done a few dismantles on them this week and my shins are black and blue, would adjusting them help?

My mate turned the buckles around on his so they sorta look back to front but he says you can do them up alot tighter? When I saw him put them on I thought he had them on the wrong feet!
