What inspires you.

I am now starting out in tree surgery and was wondering what it was that got you guys involved in it.

 

For me its just everything about it, its a job in nature that makes me feel i'm making a difference in the world. The fact that im working with the biggest living things there are. The buzz you can get from climbing a tree and looking to climb as bigger tree as possible. It keeps you physically in shape.

 

I find it so interesting when people talk about aboriculture im intrigued to listen. I just dont understand why it is so underated and there not a huge amount of money in it, the tree surgery part of arb doesnt get the respect it deserves. Im just glad im gonna be doing something I enjoy for a living and keeps me in tip top shape and Im helping a part of nature rather than working some pointless office job for a business or economy that wont even exist forever and breaking down inside.

trees inspire me. they give us life (the miracle of photosynthesis) and wood! wood is great!

my other passions in life owe so much to it - skateboarding (the actual skateboard and skate parks), sound engineering/speaker building & sitting round camp fires getting merry.

Being outside and knowing that the more effort I put in the more I'm gonna get out (even if it's just taking pride in the job and not just more money).

 

And as SWB said, chicks really do dig braces.
