Today I was one short when I got the pigeons in from morning training any way sitting in the lounge this evening and I herd a noise up the chimney and a load of soot fell down.

The chimney sweep came out and had a look and could see the pigeon down there. He put the brush down but the pigeon didn't come out so must be sitting on a ledge some where.

The only other thing I can think of is to get the fire brigade out unless any one has any ideals.

No thank god although that's' what I thought they were going to do.

They gaffs taped a saucepan to the chimney rods and some how got it out!

I didn't ring999 I just drove to the fire station and spoke to them. It didn't stop them coming with lights and siren on tho, a bit embarrassing!
