Oh no! Not another zigzag :(

Recommended Posts

The reason it will hold is the second block underneath

So why not do away with he first block if its not needed ?? Should not happen . Design not tested enough . They test seat belts to destruction . Should be the same in my book .

So how does it work if you go for a Loler test on the cracked zigzag, it's going to fail, surely a case of 'not fit for purpose', yet Petzl say it's ok, its not life threatening, hmm...have I missed something here?

Lots but you'll be climbing for a few years less with the extra strain a prusick puts on your joints so longterm false economy IMO.

Agree with all comments about it shouldn't happen but I'll still be using mine every climb as ain't been to the osteopath once since changing to the zigzag to have my lower back sorted so with that saving I could have bought about 3 I'm the time.

I've never tried the zigzag, is it really as good and what every one makes out?
