Yeah you can, but can be hard to find. Nod at Treeworker imports it, and splices too.

 

I'm climbing on orange & blue Tachyon, which I like. Not particularly stretchy with a top anchor.

 

 

Cheers Joe, I may get some in the future from nod then.

 

I spent a while reminding a mate that the orange and blue tach was the one to get, and then went and ordered green and blue for myself, duh!!

Cougar blue is s winner for me, footlocked up some globe the other day and that was super super static not sure of the diameter though

 

 

That's a dyneema core , 10 or 10. 5 I can't quite remember , I wouldn't recommend that for anything other than an access line as its a bit to skinny not to mention there is almost no stretch whatsoever , even with a base tie . I like my lines static but I draw the line at dyneema .

Dynamic loading and (ultra) static access lines

 

Menno (with harness and equipment) weighed in at 105kg. He created about 100-200mm of slack in the foot lock lanyard and let go. The dynometer pinged at 540kg! That's five time his weight with a relatively small fall.
