Our old Hilux tipper refuses to die, way to rough to go on the road  so its been used  as a dumper. Still runs really well and refuses to die, really has been an incredible little truck [emoji106]1: Off for a new life soon in a far off land

Couldn't find another manual 5speed, been on the lookout for about a year and they seem to be as rare as rocking horse shite. I am chucking all the seats out like the other one but this time going to try and condense all the tools into low profile pull out draws.

Looks a good old bus Bob, what exactly is it and is it going blue?

Hi all does anyone run a Toyota 80 series tipper thanks they’re built very well thanks Jon
It would be the dream Jon. I'm on an old mk3 hilux, but one day I'll own a 80 series? Even if I have to chop the body off and make it a pickup myself.

I was looking Into importing a 4x4 dyna recently. Surprisingly not that dear

  • 3 weeks later...

Spotted this on a trip to my Ford dealers yesterday.

Ranger Raptor, 213 horses €54k.

Rather nice I thought.

Towing capacity is reduced due extra weight or something, so even if I wanted to, it’s a no go.

Does look nice though, makes mine look a bit dour.

A profoundly silly truck. I can't figure out who it's aimed at because it's lowered load capacity means you can't claim the VAT back, and the towing capacity drops too. 213hp isn't that much for a pickup, and if you were spending £50k, you'd just get an F150/F250, especially if you lived somewhere where you drove on the right.
