When I saw the title thought the beech along spanairds had taken a sudden turn for the worse!

Video really highlights the benefits of keeping photographic documentation of these types of scenarios, maybe should start doing the same with some of the more interesting ones at work ☺

Nicely done (the tree and vid) and I thought the alternative take on the music was fitting.

 

Most enjoyable, and I have never seen a follow-up before of coronet cuts looking so good. Almost sculptural.

Always find it fascinating going back and looking at how pruning wounds and fractures etc develop over a period of time.

those two are still looking OK, but we continue to keep a close eye on them.

 

if vitality & resource allows, a reduction will ensue at some point over the next 18 months
