Thanks guys, Glad you like them, unfortunately not available in NZ.

they're Custom made in the UK, Designed by the NHS Specifically for ski jumping, stainless steel frames and 3' thick Bullet-proof Pyrex lenses

I have to be careful wearing them when climbing though , if the sun ever gets behind me, my rope will catch fire.:001_tongue:

if you get a chance go to kunnanara(prob spelt wrong) its a few hours south of darwin. they used to do a 'cannoe safari' down the gorge its 56km with few bivvy sites along the way, i did it 10 years ago and it was excellent.

 

if you fancy a few beers stop at alice springs and go to 'bojangles' always a good craic there.

 

coober pedy is worth a look (theres only about 5 buildings above ground, everything else is underground but the doors are on top{it looks like something out of a cartoon})

 

most of all DONT get stuck with guide book recommendations, just do what you want to do when you want to do it.
