have won a contract to cut a playing field as last jokers made a total mess of it. never cut it untill last week and was 6inches tall. that was not to bad as was going to cut it in increments untill down. they came back and cut it down but left the grass now a hay field. any good idea to be able to remove grass thats been left. if i use collector be there days was thinking of puting side disharge on and blowing in rows then collect and get rid off.

how they get work is beyond me. what i have seen of there work is a disgrace and they are so called profesianals and a major player.:confused1:

I hope you're charging them a one-off fee to sort the mess out then? If so then just stick the collector on, knuckle down and bill em what it takes!

Second this, we always charge a clean up fee if we have to sort someone's mess out, on with the collector when its dry and make a few bob.

We have an Amazon top and collect flail mower but it needs a fairly heavy tractor to operate it. Its like the one in the picture below but the 2.8mtr cut. Grassbox holds a couple of cubes of cuttings so it would make short work of that job.

to right am i charging for doing it. plus have contract to keep it up together.

will take some photos of it before never seen such a mess and they want to be paid for it. council have told them to go away.

wish i knew someone who had a acrobat and a small baler would make bales from it but would be only good for compost, to much rubbish in it.

Seems to be a lot of overgrown lawns and fields this year done a 2 acre lawn today but managed to get the tractor in! Keep mulching it up on a dry day and comes out ok. Used flail collectors on football pitches in the past but again does a better/easier job on a sunny day.
