The mitox is a good little blower I won one in the Xmas raffle and am pleased with it so far. I use it to give the paths a quick blow after striming so sounds like what your after. Barry upgraded it to the blower vac as was out of stock and he said I would be surprised and he wasn't wrong so far

I bought a Makita blower when I first started up to tide me over until I could afford a decent one. That was 10 years ago and it's still going strong. It's used most most days and it's never missed a beat, totally reliable and I've never even changed the plug! Needless to say I've never bought a "better" one.

Using a handheld, get your strimmer harness and put a cable tie round the handle, clip it on and let the harness take the weight (it needs to be a tad bit shorter than for your strimmer). It's just as easy as using a backpack when it's going and no hassle to start it then put it on. I've a wee stihl which is fine for most things. You don't need a hurricane just a strong wind!
