On train yesterday really noticed just how bad the extent of Ash die back really is. As we travelled from Liverpool to London it really was noticeable with some trees struggling to wake up others totally gone over to the disease.

Hmm... Are you sure? Maybe they are just really late coming out, the ash's in london are only just coming out?

Put your chainsaw away for the minute 8-)

It caught my eye as we travelled a lot of definitely dead trees and many with a serious wilt and brown leaves left hanging from the branches.

I've a number of gardens with Ash in and they are just waking up but don't look anything like a great many we passed yesterday. They don't have the wilt.

My thoughts too, hardly any Ash out in leaf around my areas of Kent, none of the ones I have looked at in detail show exterior signs of Chalara.

And... Another thing, when I see trees that look like they have some sort of disease, it's usually the seed pods hanging down like dead leaves, don't know if this is a sign of chalara.
