I think the srt thing has got bugger all to do with low competitor numbers. Seems to be just shite marketing and organisation. Is anyone here from or represent Te English arb association? Be interesting to hear there take on having such spectacularly low turn out. Do they still see it as a success? Or not?

I honestly think about 90% of arborists aren't interested in comps I'm certinatly not. I'd rather spend my free time with my family or pick weeds out of my garden. I've seen a few comps at the shows and quite a few competitors seemed to be collage students I'm not knocking them but it doesn't make more entertaining for the spectators, I'll be brutally honest it is a boring 'sport' to watch

What's the AA got to do with the ISA TCC? (Scuse the acronyms)

A lot of the competitions you see at arbshows generally are student comps.

 

The ISA TCC should be held at an arbshow...its ludicrous hosting it anywhere but IMO
