FS65 strimmer "Teikei" carb kit

Recommended Posts

Hi Folks,

I have an old Stihl FS65 strimmer and had been looking to get a carb repair kit for it.

The only identifying features I can find on the carb are the words "Tekei" Japan. Anyone any ideas where I might find a UK seller for parts for this make of carb?

Many thanks in anticipation.

You could struggle with that one. They where known as TK carbs (normally a slide carb not a butterfly?). That's prob 20+ years old now?

Thanks for the links Wisecobandit & Ray1. :thumbup1:

Had tried a search on the "bay", but was searching Teikei rather than TK, so had limited joy with my initial search. :001_rolleyes:

I use Rowena Motors (carbs) for rebuild kits, lists Walbro, Tillitson and,Zama but don't know about Teikei/ tk kits. You could always phone and ask the chap who is very helpful knowledgeable and if you want anything as long as you order it before 3pm it there the next day.
