Hey tom,

When do you arrive in nz? how long are you planning to stay for?

When I came out here I just emailed 15 or so company's in areas I wanted to work in with a a few paragraphs say who I was and what I want to do in nz along with my cv and I have gotten more than enough work, so just doing that is enough bro, good luck.

safe travels

hi guys just looking for some up to date advice if possible.

Moving to New Zealand in January, looking to send kit out and wondered if anyone has done so recently and if they had any problems, my kit will be pretty much brand new only thing that will be used is harness which is less than a year old and mechanical devices the same. will be buying new ropes etc. Also have people sent saws if so in the same box?

Starting off in Christchurch so any tips advice regarding jobs and living in the area also would be really helpful.

any advice greatly appreciated.

ACC- basically any accident is covered by the government and you will get paid 80% of your wages until you are ready to work again and all medical bills covered, incl doc, surgery, physio, rehab etc....

As they say "She'll be right!" :001_smile:
