I went to Myerscough to do the Bsc arb. Degree. It is the highest qualification in the arb industry other than a masters on top...or until they make another. It was a very comprehensive degree covering mainly the biology of trees and plants. If I did it again, I would do the foundation degree only as the final year was directed at the more laboratory/research industry. My boss in Australia did it online and it seemed great online too. It's also great for winning contracts!

Hi, I am just coming to the end of the foundation degree, 3 years, seems a long time.

From what I can gather the BSc has a lot of microbiology and cellular biology, with interpretation and write up of associated experiments, plus a dissertation.

It seems challenging, I am 57 and work as an Arb Officer so time and brain cells are limited:)
