02 reg isuzu tf double cab 2.5 dti 4x4?

not had mine for long.

mpg is any where between 25-35- i drive a lot of steep windy roads mind.

i do give mine some abuse- like having 8 foot lengths of cord hanging of the back and stacked up as far as i dare.

its not a speed machine but i think the engine will go on. its hard for me too comment on towing because i am always up and down fairly steep hills so have to drop it down a few cogs to get up. went up an 18%er just now with two 8ft retangular bales on my ifor and was in second gear doing nearly 30 all the way.

i think the main down fall on these is rust so have a really good look underneath before you buy.

mine must have been sat for a while as every nut seems to be welded up with rust and i have a siezed caliper and coroded brake pipes.

 

i paid 2250 for mine with 90k on the clock- damn sight cheaper than any other pick up in the same condition and milage. . serving me well so far.

Mpg sounds good enough for my needs, do you know what it will leagally tow though? I can easily check when i go and look at it, but its nice to be prepared. Checking for rust is standard procedure for me as im a land rover man!

Looking on line it seems like the max towing weight is 2 ton, not really enough for me, back to looking for a Trooper i think.
