I'm only just starting to get into climbing after working as a groundy for a few years and need some new boots, was told some boots aren't comfortable when your wearing spikes, has anyone got some advice on any boots to look at/avoid?

Cheers

Ive listened too various debates on here previously and have come to the conclusion, its down too personal preference, some people like one make, whilst others swear by another, I have a wide foot so find meindle`s tight fitting, others find the ridgid phanners great, ,me personnely wish I`d never ventured from the safe Hiax`s,,,its all down to what works for you!

Meindl Airstreams are a good boot, comfortable straight out of the box. I've had mine for a year now and they have held up well. Comfortable with spikes, nice and slim compared to my old Haix. As long as you don't mind the bright red trim!

as I said,,,down to preference,,my meindl`s where not comfy out of the box,,and still are not,,but I know many guys love em,,but my haix`x where,so we totally disagree,,but that A/ =allowed b/ just one of them things lol:001_tt2: nothing wrong with different opionions:thumbup1:
