It's amazing what will run

When I was insurance assessor

 

We had guy with jag on motorway

It dropped a rod but kept running for couple of miles

Until the whirling rod cut the engine block in two

The driver said " it was making a bit of noise "

 

I think they call it mechanical sympathy .......

Sounds like most of our UA blokes, did he also have the congenital deformity of a spur attached to his ankle?

I knew a woman that put wiper fluid in her husbands diesel engine. It got her about 5-10 miles from home in 40* weather before it blew a rod out the bottom of the block. What came out looked exactly like a chocolate milkshake. I doubt milkshake lubricates very well...
