One thing which can help.

Change.

Change your circumstances, situation, direction, get a new look look, haircut, shoes because when you are down you stare at your shoes alot.

Close down, move away, start afresh, get shot of toxic relationships, downsize, move dead in the water kit, old ideas, staff who don't make your life easy.

 Change.

It was rather traumatic and nearly killed me but I'm through the otherside now.

Lots of good advice on this thread, 

100% agree with getting rid of toxic people that In in your life, was told that where possible surround yourself with positive people, positively breeds positivity.

I honestly think depression can be entirely biological though. Like the brain isn't wired properly or that you are lacking a vital mineral. 

 

i agree lifestyle/ friends etc play a  part but I've been blue before for no reason whatsoever. A good nutritionist is a good place to start.
