Oh my god I wish 'd seen the bare unit only for sale. Last year near me there was half an acre of branch wood just left and abandonned between a farm and a pit top, free for all. Little sods from the nearest village had a game of petrol and matches with it :( it burned for a week

Woudnt it be worth considering bagging into a smaller paper type bag, so you could just throw the whole thing into the fire?

I've been thinking along same lines for a bit

When we had solid fuel rayburn thought bag of coal just right size would have been clean and convenient

Ditto with these mini logs, i think they might be awkward as they come out of machine, and you'd have to use a scuttle, all a bit messy

But has potental

This how I burn ours on the stove. They get decanted out into a garden trug outside then use a cole shovel to put them on the fire. It cuts down the mess but not perfect.

This one looks suitably dangerous but a gravity feed and some covers would make it an efficient tool. Could be an old cement mixer converted.

Not sure an old cement mixer would be strong enough. One I have seen used an old international axle and diff for the rotation, attached to a tractor, and that almost had a bit of flex in it.
