what would you charge for this?

Its for someone my dad used to work with, he said it was some 18 inch trunks to cut down when we were passing:001_rolleyes:

Hes seen the one's I have done, and has asked me to just get them finished and let him know how much he owes.

Not the way I like to go about charging, but things do have to be got on with sometimes I suppose.

Save yourself a bit of time sharpening chains by taking of the bark with a mattock & brush the stumps to remove as much dirt as possible, failing that dig them out with a mattock. Done this once, before I bought a stumpy, never again. You don't just knacker chains, the dirt can get into all manner of places on your saw.
