what would you charge for this?

Recommended Posts

How much/ how would people charge for cutting these 6 or 7 stumps down to just below ground level? Sort of ended up with the job, to help someone out, want to make a profit(bearing in mind its quite hard on the saw and chain) but not take the pss. Thanks.

Get a stump grinder in and put your bit on top . You will be forever sharpening/binning chains .

Just curious really, iv already done all but the big 2, they are only going an inch or 2 below ground, all the digging was done by someone else, I'll probably charge at hourly rate plus a new chain or 2!

If it was my job I would have a stump grinder on it, I think im getting the back end of someone trying to save a few quid:thumbdown:

Are you saying you have started the job without agreeing the price ?

Hire a stump grinder or get some one to do it and ask for a drink.I done a similar job a few weeks back wasted so much time sharpening chains and binned four ended up costing me money.Never again at least i learned something that day don't make the mistake i made.
