Any Jonsered dealers on here?

Hi all,

 

Ordered a Jonsered CS2153 online a couple of days ago just for convenience really. Heard back from them this morning and they said

The saw was ordered yesterday from the UK distributor by e-mail. We are today surprised to find out that they have closed down the UK business and have no stock!

 

Anybody know anything about this? I've emailed Jonsered direct but no reply yet.

I would ring one of there other uk dealers to see what they say?

Ive heard there will be no more jonsered saw in 2014,husky are no longer bringing them into the uk,Was husky rep this came from,so id think it was correct?

How does that affect the spares situation? We still run quite a few of these.

Yes i asked about the spares as we service a few,and was told spares will be readily available through husky dealers

Correct, Jonsered has been withdrawn from the uk. Central spares distributed them and then Henton and Chattell had a go. It would appear there just isn't enough sales in the uk to make it viable.

I know they have no CS2153's cuz I bought the last one for a customer! it was on offer cuz it was an old model. They still have some jonsered versions of the 560XP though:thumbup1:
