Running in a new 560xp

Hi Jon, the 560 is an animal. I bought a 550 a year or 2 ago and at the time wanted the 560 but they had none in stock so got the 550. Unfortunately the barrel has got scored somehow and needs repairing. The 560 is brilliant for logs, it absolutely flies through. We are going to be working your way for a few months I would have thought.

Apparently 8 drive sprocket configuration isn't listed in 560 parts manual, I'll run it for a bit and see how get on but would think on a 15" should have enough power not to die when doing bigger cut. Snapping chains is a different matter of course.

 

If its at all relevant , which it may not be , my 560 runs an 8 pin but on .325 ....
