I saw this thread and thought of this video.

 

Now, ignoring the actual building the sharpening station (unless you need one :laugh1: ) there is some really useful info on wet sharpening chisels, knives etc which may be of use with regards to sharpening chipper blades.

This seems to be the best solution to me? any thoughts? do you think it will it be precise enough for cs100 blades? @Jase hutch

The link doesn’t seem to work for me.....

All I can say is that the angles seem fairly critical, even the ‘back angle’ needs to be right for the best performance..

I have one of the grinders. Never sharpened chipper blades on mine as mainly used for chisels and plane blades. They are not especially fast but leaves a great edge.
