NPTC vehicle sticker question

Hi all,

In the process of getting my first truck sign written, and so have asked city and guilds if I had permission to use their logo etc etc, sent off a photograph of my certificates etc.

They reply saying thank you for wishing to acknowledge your achievement and attached a 'city and guilds level 2 qualified' logo. Is this as I only have up to my cs39 at the mo?

I'm not cheeky enough nor do I wish to go against the rules and simply use the standard NPTC Qualified stickers that you see around, but would a potential customer look at the fact that I was 'level 2 qualified' and wander to themselves why I wasn't qualified higher or anything?

What are your thoughts?

Cheers, Ben.

I've always looked at NPTC units and 'certificates of competence'. I have a city and guilds in Arboriculture and I've feel its demeaned by the fact that anyone who's done a CS30 can slap a 'City and Guilds' qualified sticker on their wagon. :thumbdown:Whinge over!

I see what your saying and see your point if view obviously, but all I'm saying is that as I'm only 21, I've had people in the past pass jobs to other people as when I went to quote they thought I was too young etc, so by sticking a sticker on the side, all be it a nptc one, hopefully it will make me stick out from the have a go heros as a proper tree surgeon and someone that can obviously be trusted etc, as I start my own business up, cheers
