The plate on mine says Sweden, they aren't telling me porkies are they ? :001_rolleyes:

 

That sounds right, based on how it looks - the looks and specs indicate that it is a (further) detuned version of the 435 (that is a detuned 440), but in the process the weight also went up slightly.

 

The big question is if the tag says "Husqvarna, made in Sweden", or just "Husqvarna, Sweden". There are a big difference in the meaning of those quite similar expressions (what I fear is of course China).

Another option is that it is made by Zenoah (Japan), but the looks does not fit with a Zenoah made saw.
