That's a weird one? If the oil pressure switch is not the culprit then next will be the alternator and the temperature switch (can't see it being this as I only seem to be within the very first minute of chipping after a warm up period). Stranger things have happen though!

Thanks White Noise, can you remember how much the oil pressure switch was? Well, was grinding all day so no time to unwire the oil pressure switch, grinding tomorrow to but worse come to worse I will have a project over Christmas.

 

If anyone else has anything to add or other things to check I am all ears!

 

Sorry Horatio I just disconnected the oil switch and left it at that . Obviously I,m checking the oil daily . This was over 3 months ago maybe more . Just make sure to check check and double check your oil level :thumbup:

So did you disconnect the whole switch or did you remove the wire?

And I right in thinking that you follow the wire from near the oil dipstick?
