You need a restricter  that also allows the flow back to the other side of the circuit. An adjustable relief valve, but for flow not pressure.

A pair of these should do it? Ask on PlantTalk forum to make sure.

I’m trying to fit a tilting grading bucket to my Takeuchi TB125. Trouble is the controls for the tilt are on buttons on the joystick and no flow control- just max flow when it’s pressed which is obviously hopeless for this application, I’ve tried fitting those inline flow control valves. But the pump is still trying to push max fluid through a now restricted line and the pump just screeches and sounds like it’s dead ending. Is it just a case that this setup simply isn going to be able to work on this machine or does anyone have any other ideas?

cheers

Easiest way to do this is to put an electrically controlled diverter in one of your other circuits and have a changeover button, we've done this by sacrificing a horn button on the end of the stick before. Ie, thumb on "horn" button = rotate, "horn" button released = tree shear.

read the question again....

This soloution could have merit if he was to run a second line from something like the offset, the diverter giving him a second proportional aux off the foot pedal. However he should be able to get a smooth controlled flow with the right valves, and he only needs one aux.

My new machine arrived today, JCB 65r1 with steel tracks and engcon tiltrotator with gripper. need to sort out guarding and getting the case drain fitted for the flail tomorrow and it’ll be straight out to work practically moving from one site to the next for the next couple of months with a bit of sub contracting thrown in for good measure

Pipe it into the offset boom via a 6 way valve. Low flow anyway and control it off the foot pedal.

Just a few of my mate Ollie out with his Duck setup I showed previously on a project that I looked at for my Liebherr setup.

I could have done it, but it simply didn’t need that much muscle.

A very simple solution was available in the form of step cutting them whilst being safely held with a grab, then simply skid them up the road into the grasp of the awaiting Chipper.

Great to see a well setup Duck doing it’s stuff roadside, and 52 conifers safely removed exactly to plan including a sweep up was a tidy 5 hour nights work in anyone’s book.

Been out on the M6 with a 22 Metre Long Reach and the Felling Head myself this week.

Great setup for the slope work and the Felling Head ensures nicely presented material for chipping and a decent bit of product too.
