Sugi bars for other saw brands?

With 15" bar and chain attached, it's weighing in at about 7.5 kilos. plus the weight of your fuel [keeping in mind it holds 0.8 litres] and chain oil, it'll be a bit over 8 kilos full [hopefully i've done my maths right].

 

That's not bad, I've just weighed one of my 262s cw 18" laminated bar and full of fuel and oil, 10.1 kg. I'll try again when I have cleaned it.

Just as an update on the OP - I'll be getting in all the inserts that Sugihara manufacture - this means that you should be able to put a Sugi bar on pretty much any saw although for some it will mean re drilling the oiler hole....

 

... but all in all that won't be too much of a chore - may even buy a load of decent drill bits the right size so you will then get your spacers and drill bit to re drill oiler hole....
