talking to the

lady who owns them they use them to guard sheep in the andes from wolves,foxes etc so think if i had one of my dogs with me may take a dislike to him she did say when they had sheep no fox went on the land

well in field today one of the male lhamas like in photo got very nasty no matter what he was out to get me spitting at me now lhama spit is not nice it stinks of fermented silage but he was trying to get me over fence in the end had to call owner to get him moved out. said that they can if they get nasty run at whatever it is knock them to ground and stamp on them. im glad i stayed the other side of fence. so watch out if you ever et to do a hedge with lhamas or alpaCHAjust as bad so she said. and i thought horses where bad:laugh1:

Laid a hedge years ago where, on one side, the shires that pulled the Bass drays were kept. Two of us on the job. One day the stallion decided he was coming through. We stood our ground until the last minute but he won. Nothing was going to stop him:001_smile:
